1) What is your style of event photography?
Even though there are elements of classic portraiture, I am primarily a photo journalistic photographer. My goal is to artistically capture the emotional story of your day as unobtrusively as possible. Ultimately, I strive to provide you with “photographic heirloom” that you would be proud to pass to your children. I also enjoy creating environmental portraits that capture your character.
2) Where are you located?
San Antonio, Texas. This area in central Texas is convenient to locations such as the greater San Antonio area, Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Castroville, Kerrville, Wimberley, Seguin, and many more.
3) How many events do you book in one day?
Only yours. This enables me to arrive early, to get mentally centered, and to be free of time pressure. And, this provides you with greater flexibility in planning your event.
4) Will we meet you to talk?
Yes, you will meet and work with me, from start to finish. Personal rapport and comfort with your photographer makes a huge difference in your photography and your special day. You will have my direct phone number. You will never need to talk through sales or photo-consultants, telemarketing or office staff. I will be your photographer.
5) Do we get all of the images from our event?
Yes. A complete set of full size digital images will be provided on an image CD collection. Your collection also includes a set of smaller easy-to-email size duplicate images.
6) How soon will our digital image CD collection be available?
Promptly, about 2 weeks after your event.
7) Will prints be professionally retouched?
Yes, and more. They begin by optimizing color and exposure; then by minimizing blemishes and background distractions; and finish by applying artistic effects such as softening, spot-color, black/white, sepia, or specialized painting effects. They are beautifully rendered heirloom images.
8) What type of equipment do you use?
I use only Nikon cameras, flashes, and lenses. My cameras are extremely high quality, light, quick and reliable. I always have two or more of all important equipment.
9) Can my guests take pictures?
Yes. I enjoy the interaction with 'guest photographers', usually. Please just think over how you'll manage them ... as they often invent amazing new ways to intrude into images. Further, they might not understand your wishes.
10) Can I see a customized package?
Yes. Please ask for a custom package when you contact me. Tell me about your desires. My reply will include a photography package that is tailored to your vision.
